Has UK down for 1316 GR86 sold in 2023 (DVLA numbers were 1025 for end of September 2023).
So 291 GR86 sold in the last 3 months.

Surely the way this reads is 1316 cars were sold/registered in 2023 alone, but we know there were around 180 cars registered in 2022 as well.
This would put the number of UK cars at close to 1500, which aligns with previous unconfirmed reports.

My local dealer (Stoneacre Darlington) has just put a photo on Facebook of two registered in 2024, for delivery this weekend
(and did mention "I have one manual and one auto left, both Sapphire Blue Pearl and both unregistered - will be first keeper and on a 24 plate. Let me know if you’d like one.)

How have they managed to register them in 2024? i was under the impression that the whole reason for the limited numbers was that they couldn't be registered after 2023 as they aren't compliant to legislation.
Those regulations apply to cars registered from July '24. If anything, they're playing it safe by ensuring all cars are sold or registered before the end of Q1.
