The above statement was from my original post in January.

We were invited to participate in this event because we made it clear to the organisers that we are a good group of enthusiasts, who could be trusted and bring something different to the event.

It's very disappointing to report that I've just been on the phone with the organiser who has video footage of approx 5 GR's that attended on Sunday driving like idiots. I haven't seen the footage yet, but it was taken from the surrounding B roads by a locals when you left.

We can't tolerate this type of behaviour, it's anti-social, selfish, dangerous and threatens future events from taking place. I'm told all registration numbers are clearly visible and if you are on the forum you won't be allowed to join future events or be involved in future forum activities.

Finally a thank you to all those who attended on Sunday and acted like grown-ups, you are welcome to join us again at future events.

We are on there from just after 19 mins. Pulled out of a junction, accelerated (as anyone does coming out of a junction), and then had to stop at the level crossing as the barriers were down. Proceeded to the A483 without exceeding the 40 mph speed limit with no overtaking or anything stupid. 🤔

Would be intrigued to see what is being defined as 'driving like idiots', as I can see plenty in that video driving like idiots & none are GR drivers 🤔

Could well be & that's more of a wider issue for C&C Chester to police vs any particular group that attends. There were people driving like idiots on the site itself, accelerating hard & engines screaming by the lake's, long before they'd reached the main road. I hope that is being dealt with by the organisers 🤔

As mentioned earlier I haven't seen the offending footage myself as yet and probably won't do until the weekend. I personally didn't see any poor behaviour, but I was one of the last to leave (and it wasn't me).

Thats pretty sad if its true. Most owners of actual fast cars tend to not need to show off, hence all the normal driving in the video shown.
 
Looks to me that all cars that attended not just GR's are banned from CnC. Not going to be much of an event next time.
 
Didn't see any silly behaviour personally. Enjoyed the event, good to get out and put faces to names and to see the wide range of cars that were there as well as the GR's. Thanks for organising.
