Noice. Could I grab one of each on Sunday or do I need to go through proper channels?

Glad you like them!

It will make life much easier if we can sort out the money in advance, plus we can then guarantee you'll get all 3.
If you can make the donation via the forum and let me know when you've done it. (y)

Chris

Quick update on numbers - 5 GR-Zoo tickets remain for Sunday so should be a healthy turnout of 20+ (y)
If you know anyone who has a GR then let them know.

Currently looking at Chester East services as they also appear to have a McDonalds and that is right on the M56, so no detour required.

EDIT: For anyone coming down the M56, there are a number of us meeting up at McDonalds - Chester East services (junction 14), for 8am (y)
Richard and I will meet you at Chester Services Maccies for 8am tomorrow. Happy to have a sit in Maccies brekkie.

It's not a drive through which is a bonus as surely people don't want to eat in their cars. Much nicer to sit in and have natter over brekkie. (y)

I'll go for one of each mug, please Chris. Will sort the donation. :)

Thanks all, if anyone else who is attending would like some mugs then please if you can make the relevant donation today using the link below.

£8 for 1
£15 for 2
£21 for 3

I would prefer to spend more time chatting with members and looking at cars than selling mugs out of the back of my car tomorrow morning. 🛍️

Cheers

If anyone who runs the standard fit Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyre (225/40/18) from the Circuit Pack, I have a spare unused tyre that I picked up last year - happy to bring it to the meet tomorrow.

From what I can see these are still a nightmare to source, so if you want a new one and you run the standard Circuit Pack tyres, let me know before tomorrow and you can collect it in person. (y)

Looking for £120, of which £20 will go to the forum. (y)

Update folks.

Cars and Coffee are keen for our cars to be grouped together and still have access for late arrivals.

So the plan is our cars will be on the perimeter of the field and hard-standing (the 2 yellow lines) - access shouldn't be a problem, the ground is flat and not boggy in this section, you should also be able to leave a bit of a gap between cars.

The organisers are going to try and fit non GR-Zoo cars onto the hard-standing area, which could be a challenge.

Let's see what the conditions are like tomorrow, but we may ask Supra owners to park nearer to the hard-standing area, just so you don't struggle with traction. o_O GR-Zoo cars should be automatically directed to the correct area on arrival, but if you are unsure mention it to the staff that you are with GR-Zoo.

Food and drink will be available - I don't have a menu, but expect it to be £5 for a bacon roll and a coffee.

I wouldn't wear your best shoes, consider boots or wellies - I'm told the field is a bit spongy in places, but where we are going should be fine. Hence why they are going to use hard-standing as much as possible for the other cars.

Any questions then let me know. (y)

Have a great day tomorrow unfortunately my car is trapped in ( long story ) so I’m having to jib out.
It’ll mean more space at least

Great turn out and good to see what everyone has done to their GR. Some small and some large mods but don't think there was one standard as the day they picked it up.
Thanks to Chris for organising and his sales pitch on the Mugs and stickers 👍

Thanks everyone.

Great to meet everyone who attended and if I didn't say hello, come and say hello at the next event!
Cars & Coffee Cheshire were really happy with our support and behaviour and happy for GR-Zoo meets to happen on a regular basis.

No problem @Jip , you can redeem yourself by joining us next time. (y)

Thanks, Chris. Was great to meet you in person finally. Also really nice to meet a lot of new people. Looking forward to the next meet at Tegiwa next Sunday. Was so nice to get out to a car meet again and be on the road early doors on a Sunday morning. :)

Yeah it was good, some cool machines there! And it was nice to put some faces to names. I'll be along to the next one if it happens again. Thanks for organising!

Thanks all, a great morning with some great people and lots of positive coverage on social media. (y)

I'll chat with the organiser, but it's likely we'll do something similar again for the forum in a couple of months time and then probably late Summer, but Cars & Coffee Cheshire normally takes place once a month, so you can still attend on those dates too, but you'll be mixed in with the other cars.

Next time we'll organise a drive afterwards, over a pre-agreed route and make a full day of it.

We are also chatting with Demon Tweeks who have offered GR-Zoo the use of their location for a future event, so that's another option. I'll share more information with you all once I know more.

Big thanks to Chris for organising this and the mugs!

I could only hang around for a couple of hours, but it was great to meet a few fellow owners

Yesterday was the first time I've seen a pearl white GR in the flesh, looked sexy...kinda jealous
