GR86 Neptune Blue (Dunfermline)

To keep thread updated, here are my recent Mods:
OEM calipers painted in matching blue with small GR logo.
Cusco front strut bar and boot cargo net (from USA) added.

Road Hero spare wheel kit added. It’s kit RH118 from Carnoisseur, listed as GT86/GR86 (2012 on).
Install can be as simple as removing the loose centre polystyrene storage section and just dropping the bagged space saver into the well.
I chose to place a ‘cut-to-fit’ foam garage mat (Aldi) into the bottom of the wheel well and inserted a generic securing bolt through the material of the nylon carry bag into the threaded hole on the chassis. It’s worth noting that my £4 AliExpress securing bolt is a little too short and I could only get about 2 threads to bite. I’ve since ordered a longer one from ‘The Wheel Shop’ (eBay) at £12.
A compact tyre inflator from Amazon (£17) completes the holdall emergency kit and means I can leave the OEM gunk kit (in the loft) with the removed floor section.
Both the OEM boot carpet and my ‘Frogum Dry Zone’ TPE boot liner went back in with no lumps or bumps evident. The holdall is currently on a non-slip mat but will go into the cargo net when that arrives. Satisfies my need to have a spare wheel.

I’m glad the Ali Express one was too short 😉

Or I’d be gutted that I wasted £8 on the eBay one

I’ll manufacture a foam insert to go into the wheel recess once the tie down bolt arrives.. the Jack I got with the wheel I bought though brand new leaves a slight raised section of the boot floor mat when it’s inserted in the jack cutout
 
You’re definitely the man to buy a used car off (unless you strip the goodies when you sell a car)

Exactly what my neighbour said with regards to both my cars and motorcycles. If it’s a private sale then the stuff goes with it (for the right buyer), as it’s nice to be generous and make people happy. If it’s to a garage then take everything off and bawz to ‘em!! 😄

I’ll sort it, when I get a dry day I’ll sort that and the clutch spring (3rd time lucky)

Hopefully SWMBO will get discharged after her stem cell transplant on Sunday .. She’s been the priority and why the car’s done ~2,200 miles since October 👀.. I might drop the oil too 👍🏻
 
Latest upgrade: Bonnet gas struts fitted. Them nuts don’t come off as easy as shown on YouTube videos that’s for sure! 🥵

I like the organiser tray - where did you pick that up from? Would be handy for a road trip I feel. Also, same for the knee pads? Cheers.
