Question for you, fine sir.

I'm going to try ceramic coating my freshly powdercoated standard wheels with the infinity wax revolution wheel ceramic coating. I was thinking of getting a little airbrush to do it with as I assume this will be a bit more forgiving with getting an even layer. Is this something you have ever tried and if so, do you have any pearls of wisdom to share?

I would probably avoid spraying the ceramic onto a wheel as that amount of product could lead to runs and high spots, which would require intense mechanical effort to remove. Using a dedicated application block or even lint free cotton pads (I have a large bag of round cotton make up removal pads from Tesco) ensures that an even layer goes on before it gets ‘flatted out’ and finally buffed. It’s also easier to work smaller manually applied areas rather than a single large sprayed one because time is of the essence when working ceramic coating.

Thanks. Sorry to hijack your thread, but you seem to be the fountain pf knowledge for care are products, as you just demonstrated. I'll take those points on-board.
