GR86 What oil did you use

Hello
I am going to change my engine oil at 1000 mile,I am going to do this my self and just wondered what oil to use, Toyota 0-20 grade is around £102 for 5 litres.Mobil 1 is £50 for 5 litres.Thanks.
 
Popular choices are Millers or Ravenol, I have Liqui Moly 0w20 in mine, just be sure it meets Toyota standards (highly likely it will).

I used Millers from Opie too, if you search the Toyota standard number on their website it’ll list compatible oils.

I used Millers EE 0w20 from Opie Oils on a black Friday deal.
It meets the API and ILSAC specs in the manual.
 
I bought some

PETRONAS Syntium 7000 Hybrid 0W-20 Fully Synthetic​

Opie Petronas for topping up as appears to meet Toyota spec.

Seems to be a good price for 5L so bought 2x5L

£26.95 plus £6.95 del​

Meets or exceeds the requirements of:

  • API SP
  • ILSAC GF-6A
 
Seen a 0W/30 that meets API SP & GF-6A. Sounds ideal to me.
