GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Well, I f*cked up today. Went snowhunting and smashed into another GRY, didn't notice he was slowing down as I was looking at third GRY passing us by. It was slushy and there was nothing I could do.
At least both cars could continue having fun in snow, nothing major broke (except cracked headlight).

Oh sucks. Luckily not too bad. Good you owned your mistake.

Some people think I drive like a complete lunatic but one thing I'm religious with is keeping good distance especially in situations where speed/lane changes can happen, and no exceptions on that rule. So far has saved me from any damage with other road users... I learned from my dad, he didn't have any such rules and crashed many times and always blamed the others. Still get on my toes when I get in a car with him but at least now I can tell him without him getting angry - maturity comes late for some (in his seventies now lol). Other than that he ironically is a very kind and calm person...

Glad the damage is minor, 2 white cars in the snow. It could have been snow blindness

Was gonna laugh first but, from the corner of the eye, might actually have been a factor vs a black/red one....

Drove 250km trip to club celebrations - road quite icey and slippery, thanks to salt + wind.
Switched to normal mode on highway & commuting as started getting bored of constant oversteer in accelerations - with normal mode car pulls straight in acceleration.
Took 2.5 years to start using normal mode, so maybe Toyota engineers were correct eventually..

Hehe no, didnt expect mate in front would brake to greet other mate coming towards us. I was looking which wheels that third GRY that was coming towards us had and crashed 😊

Yeah great weather we have now (much better then last year). So fortunate to be able to daily drive basically a domesticated rallycar and having a ball, while all the "other nice cars" are nowhere to be seen and only the odd old Volvo or BMW are seen having fun. My other car is rwd but it nowhere near as fun as the GRY!!! And everyone else"normal" is horrified to drive...

Agree there! Its a pleasure every time :)

exactly this. drove the small snowy roads the other day and was so happy to drive with GR.
Friends and their sports cars are in their garages now, with GR its the best driving weather!
Of course an individual choice/decision, but the fact that many GR Yaris are tucked away during the winter period is really too bad for the joy and experience of what the car is like

actually uses the normal mode quite a lot like this, its good

Third scheduled service in just over 18 months of ownership.

Some ECU update was apparently applied, car is running well on it.

Amazingly, although my pads are now done the discs still have some meat on them. Not bad considering 31,000 km of fairly hard driving, including a week trundling  round the Alps, and a trip to the Nürburgring.

Looking for help with sourcing replacements! https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/time-for-new-brakes.5445/
