How many do we think are going to be completely dent and/or scratch free? I reckon we'll lose at least 6 going on recent local rejection figures ......Over 110 vehicles currently being brought up to Scotland...
Depends what you call local. There are a few around Reading, including meHi all, new member here. I’m very excited to be collecting my Manual in Ignition Red on Monday in Oxford!
Are there any other members in the local area on here? I’ve only seen one GR86 around in sapphire blue
Reading is pretty local, and you can make it a nice drive there by picking the right roads!Depends what you call local. There are a few around Reading, including me
Not all GR86s of course but I get the sentiment..How many do we think are going to be completely dent and/or scratch free? I reckon we'll lose at least 6 going on recent local rejection figures ...![]()
Can I ask when did you place your order? Think mine is still in the Suez.Another one collected in the wet this morning, my Sapphire Blue MT from Stirling. A grey went before me and a silver due out shortly, hope to see them soon. I know I've not posted during my time waiting but thanks to all on this forum for the guidance and importantly that pick up checklist - the salesman seemed only interested in connecting my Bluetooth. I'd love to say I sent it sideways but the truth is I was just grateful it wasn't damaged, relieved it got over the speed bumps and amazed I didn't have to climb out the boot when I parked it up in my single garage. Next steps a ceramic coating and eventually an exhaust.
I never considered a black car for a second having owned a few in the past but the more I see them the more I love themWell I haven't driven a manual in 4 years and that was a pleasure to drive back from the dealership. Even being stuck in traffic through the A12 roadworks wasn't too bad.
Really notice the bumps and uneven road in this, but all part of the fun.
Back home in one piece before the rain kicked in.

Hi, I placed mine at the end of June. Can I ask when did you place your order? Think mine is still in the Suez.
Same here, I declined.- the salesman seemed only interested in connecting my Bluetooth.
They’ll be slow miles thanks to DrakefordMagnetite Grey collected yesterday from W R Davies Shrewsbury with 7 miles on the clock. Was raining very hard when collecting so the checks were very quick, but no scuffs or dents.
With the detailed being ceramic coated now, hoping to have it back tomorrow.
Initial impression is that it seems more compliant than the one on the test drive, which surprised me. Engine very willing to rev.
Very straightforward no fuss handover, no grand uncovering or vehicle behind VIP ropes, just parked outside ready to go.
The window opening on the key was done, they had also set the rev limit indication at 4K revs.
No GR86 artwork, locking wheelnuts in the glovebox and safety kit in the boot. (Haven’t checked that yet to see what is in it)
Looking forward to clear autumn weather to put some miles on it now. (Although, living in Wales, that might be wishful thinking!!)
They'll not get out of first gear heheThey’ll be slow miles thanks to Drakeford
Ah awesome you managed to arrange collection! Where are you taking it for its ceramic coating if you don’t mind me asking and how much? I need to get mine booked in somewhere for when I finally sort my collection out - TOL dragging their feet sorting my PX out at the moment!Magnetite Grey collected yesterday from W R Davies Shrewsbury with 7 miles on the clock. I bought the wife one of those to go along with her new GR car brolly. She was as unimpressed as my GR go bag, now hidden in the garden and suitably readyView attachment 20592

Did you manage to spy my Sapphire Blue there when you collected?
