Finally, after 505 days of waiting, collected today...

Well I did delay it a bit to get a 73 but, yeah, it was a long time coming...
So far so good - like the colour, interior is nice enough, drives very well, surprisingly supple suspension although, even at urban speeds, it seems quite noisy at the front end.
No trouble with the clutch or throttle aside from it just being a different car to get used to.
Only niggle so far is a small scuff on the the rear nearside rim which I didn't see until I got home.
All in all, pretty good - need to go for a real drive though!

Have you contacted them? Would seem harsh if you have to pay for it to be fixed.

Not yet - took a picture which I'll probably send them.
It's not bad enough to warrant a repair as such - might just run a black sharpie over it and see how it looks...

possibly the quickest order to delivery date yet?
After cancelling my initial order I put a fresh order in on the 13.09.23, the online team mentioned it could be weeks but may be November. My Toyota app all of a sudden went from in build to delivered in under 4 days. I today had the welcome call and to be told oh by the way your car is at the dealership and ready for collection. I’m really not sure what to think about this ?? I mean I guess I shouldn’t be moaning but financially I wasn’t expecting to order a car and wait less than a week! Some would call me very lucky?! Makes me wonder how many cancelled orders are sitting in derby waiting to sent to new orders.

Is it a grey one? I know someone cancelled theirs recently. Good news all the same!
Toyed the idea with grey, but went with white in the end, just need to work out how timing is going to work now!
Ask if they can switch you into a later car to suit your time frames as this is unreasonable given the expectations set by them.
