That was my original order for an MT with delivery estimate August. A week or so later (3rd July) I changed the order to an AT, which meant new delivery is estimated to be November given that it’s not on the floor yet. My bad for being so indecisive I guess …

The bonnet and front wings have that sloping profile, so are very vulnerable to chips.

I just can’t work Toyota out.. I ordered around two weeks ago and checked again today .. The estimate for my car is October 18th .. That actually suits me as I couldn’t take delivery in August ..

I guess it’s all about colour and/or cancellations
 
what colour have you gone for? I ordered grey because they’ve run out of black. And I don’t want red or white. I’ve asked for it in September.
 
My latest update (today): "Hi, unfortunately the vehicle has not yet been allocated a build slot. I will keep you posted once a stock number has been allocated to your order."
 
Seems like it depends at what point people drop out of the process and the order goes to the next person rather than the more logical approach of bumping existing orders up the list.

I guess its probably easier from them to assign the cancelled car to a new order than moving lots of cars around. Apparently mine is due to the dealer early September.
 
Deposit paid yesterday, finance sorted and all booked for 12pm collection Friday although still showing endless rain all weekend annoyingly. So much for summer fun! It's been a long journey. Highly recommend using Motorway to sell your car if you need to. Sold in a day for nearly £1k over the closest part ex offer.

Sorted the drive away insurance (actual insurance increase is only £45) but Toyota's quote was £2,100!! Paying a quarter of that with Admiral.

Great news, best wishes for the collection. I think it rained solidly for about 10 days when I collected mine and I too had a comedy insurance quote from Toyota!
