GR Yaris 600bhp GR Yaris...

Guess if you spend 100k on a 35k car, don't really care about warranty. Not sure how you'd spend 100k tho, gearbox is 15, engine with mods 20-30? Wheels, hood, cage and seats are 50k?

Plus special string-back gloves and magic driving shoes.

Full Verkline isn't cheap for exampel...

You only live once! Live your dream if $$ is no object! that's my motto.

I am well on track to hitting £100k. My first and only mods so far are a 59p sticky dashboard mat and a £12 boot mat. Beat that.
I spent £0.00 on grinding down the rear view mirror stalk. My only mod so far.

I feel I have thrown down the gauntlet with that one.

I can’t comprehend ever spending £100,000 on a £35,000 car though, but then I guess it’s no different to the people spending £300,000+ on a Porsche GT3 turning it into a race car. The initial purchase is the cheap bit.

For me, there are 2 parts to this. I do own other fast cars. What i did not own was an ultimate custom made fun car. So the yaris gr was a very nice platform to bring to the next level. And in the end it might end up keeping up with the gt3 rs with a manual shifter and not like off the shelve:)

I know, I dream about them every night, but didn't hear it was mentioned in the video. Not many expensive mods mentioned in video so that made me wondering.

That's what's pretty damn cool about this platform. You can drive it bone stock and have one of the best b-road warriors out there. Or you can dump endless amount of cash into it and make it kill supercars, or anything in between.

Or next year, you buy the TGR-WRT Rally2 car... Although one could still tune that engine and driveline again 😂

Realised I read about the car somewhere else and as you pointed out it was not mentioned in this video. My bad.

Is there any info on the engine? The previous versions ran a 4-cyl hybrid system. I also remember reading that the 4-cyl is till 2026 or something. So having a yaris gr with a 4-cyl would mean just one of the rest to me actually:)
Besides thinking of a k24 which makes stupid power, balancing a 4 cylinder is easier. Hence why i like the odd ball 3 cylinder much more:)

different cars, those Rally1 and Rally2. Rally2 is 3-cyl, whereas Rally1 is 4-cyl.

Full Verkline kit including subframes is about another £10-15k all in. Then add in all the labour, mapping, various ancillaries etc. Quite scary tbh. Incredible bit of kit though

Don’t forget the wait time. It was not weeks but rather months before the 1st parts arrived. But the freedom of setting your car up to your liking is enormous.
We did mod the rear part (where the shocks are mounted) as there was room for improvement.
