Hey guys,
When I received my car the bumper was damaged (maybe when they were unloading the car from there truck) as such it has been due to be repaired by Toyota.
First they tried to “sold me” that a fast repair or smart repair (don’t remember what they called it) would be enough, but I told them I wanted it like new and since the scratch was too deep I didn’t believe a smart repair would do. They then agreed it would need to go to the body shop to get properly repaired. (Please see the screenshot)
When they mentioned body shop I thought there was a Toyota garage/shop specialized in these things.
I have a AirTag hidden on the car, when I looked at it this afternoon it was already “somewhere”, I don’t want to say it is shady because I don’t know the place, but it doesn’t look to have anything to do with Toyota?
Am I being too picky? Is this normal standard by dealerships? My only concern is that if the paint don’t match, in case it isn't indeed Toyota's body shop.
