GR86 Windscreen replacement - GT86 compatibility

Not required yet thankfully, but I was idly wondering if this is going to be a pain when someone gets a crack etc. Does anyone know if the screen used on the GR86 is the same as that used on the GT? Seems likely to be the case but couldn't confirm anything by googling.

I had one done on my old GT86 a few years ago. Is there any radar behind the screen that needs calibrating? On the GT I had to visit a local centre. It took about 2 hours. I don't think it'll be any different really from any other new car in terms of replacing the screen.

The difference I'm concerned about is whether there will be one to fit. With a few hundred cars in the country nobody is going to have one in stock if it's unique to the GR. If it's shared with the GT then it's less likely to be an issue, hence the question.

Good point.

I can’t answer that at the moment, once my mate gets his GT86 back I can compare them unless and answer comes in sooner.

I know the rear is wider than the GT.
