It’s actually a Shih Tzu if you can believe itLooks like Ted from Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing!
Recall? What is this for?Trip to the dealer today. Got the recall done, keyless enabled to open both doors and remote window unlocking enabled.
Out of warranty? Its 10 years! haha youre gonna be waiting a while.Been thinking more and more about exhausts. Tempted to just get an axle back for now for a bit more noise, then wait to see what else gets developed for a full system which I'll get with a map once out of warranty.
Not if you don't service at Toyota - then it's only 3 years.Out of warranty? Its 10 years! haha youre gonna be waiting a while.

Maybe me, have you seen their ridiculous service pricing?I mean yeah, but who in their right mind isn't going to lol

Where'd you order it from? I contacted Torqen about it two weeks ago but have had no response.Plus.... I just ordered my AWE Touring Exhaust... so I'm feeling very poor at the moment.
The recall is for enabling the DCM (Data Communicaton System), apparently used to make an emergency call in the event of an accident and is likely to be a general data logger on the car.I'm another that has hardly done any miles - only 200 after 3 week of ownership.
Maybe I'm being precious but this car won't be a daily driver so I'm not taking it out on its first long journeys in sub-zero temperatures and salty roads. I've seen the damage that salty roads can do and Japanese cars (well MX5s at least) seem to suffer more than most.
I'd also like to know what the recall is for. This seems to have passed me by.
They'll wiggle out of all sorts if it's anything like other manufacturers. Then every year costs will go up to the point it's not worth going to them. After 3 yrs I can service myself for £65. Need to think about itI have but... even with the £400 a year pricing the warranty is worth it. I think I'm just going to view it as £100 warranty and £300 service. Shit but, that's how it is. Funny enough I just made a topic on this!
GR86 - Service Plan Cost Vs Individual Services?
I've been quoted 3 years service + MOT For £1296 or £36 Per month... What have you been offered? This seems a lot... an average of £400 per year? Are services really that expensive? First service is oil and filter.... how is that more than £150-200 (including stealer charges) and so is...www.gr-zoo.com
So at this rate you will break it in this time next yearThe recall is for enabling the DCM (Data Communicaton System), apparently used to make an emergency call in the event of an accident and is likely to be a general data logger on the car.
