Unfortunately the filling in of the stone chip is more about structural integrity of the windscreen than anything else. I'd prepare to just get the screen replaced if you get another chip or two on it. That's what I'm doing anyway.Had autoglass round to fill the chip in my windscreen, watched him do the whole thing but it looks exactly the same afterwards. Not a happy day![]()
Yeah, part of me still hoped for it to improve even the tiniest bit. I'll be doing the same as you if I get another chip.Unfortunately the filling in of the stone chip is more about structural integrity of the windscreen than anything else. What is the first rule of sods law? No good deed goes unpunished. What did I do with my GR86 today?
Well, I thought I'd try and do a nice thing - I popped out to get my nominated sales exec a little something to say thanks for providing a great level of service. I also got some nice biscuits for the car prep/cleaning team who had done a really good job on my car. I then drove over to the dealers to drop these off and say hello (and use the toilet, of course...)
At some point during this adventure what appears to be the entire bird population of the West Mids/Warwickshire area have unceremoniously shat all over my (what was quite clean) car!
F**k you birds, the RSBP, Bill Oddie, and anyone else I can think of.
Well played sir - that’s stunningNot a GR86 as I'm still waiting for mine but I took my Japanese front engined rear wheel drive car out today as well

Anybody not familiar should watch this:
I’m quite ashamed to say that I’ve never seen them before and I’ve lived here all my life! The factory is 15 minutes from my house. The only thing I would change in this video is the Bradford weather! My yellow car appears in this video during the garage tour. Must have watched this about 50 times already
Great looking car, and a bonus you included a border terrier in the shot tooNot a GR86 as I'm still waiting for mine but I took my Japanese front engined rear wheel drive car out today as well
