Got a chip in the windscreen
seems this car is a bit of a magnet with it being so low. Going to get it filled before it becomes a crack.

Yup, mine was the first on Boxing Day. Got it filled in. It's not perfect but I'm fully expecting more to come up on a car this low that's driven weekly, so no point replacing the windscreen yet.I think this is the second windscreen posted that has been chipped in only a few weeks - week Toyota glass?
Do you have the link for the carbon key cover? Is it a sticker or hard plastic cover? Some JDM goodies arrived for me today.
Rubber floor mats, great for this time of year.

Both bought from japanparts, ended up being eye-wateringly expensive by the time you add shipping tax and customs. Oh well, sod it.
Does access to music on USB flash drive disappear when you connect your phone to the the other socket? Seems to for me with my iPhone, I've not got an Android phone to try out to see if thats the same. I unplug the phone and I get access to the flash drive again.Today I loaded up my tiny unobtrusive SanDisk 64 GB flash drive with some FLAC and MP3 files, and slotted it into the car.

I also fitted my Stoplock Pro Elite as recommended by @Swizzle and as you can see it's a nice fit. No pressing the horn and no undue pressure on the wheel nor gear gaiter.

It seems happy with both for my (Android) phone - for the Android Auto Google maps feature at least. I don't store music on my phone so maybe that would confuse it?Does access to music on USB flash drive disappear when you connect your phone to the the other socket? Does the USB stick need to be formatted as fat32 and is their a limit on size?Today I loaded up my tiny unobtrusive SanDisk 64 GB flash drive with some FLAC and MP3 files, and slotted it into the car.

I'm not sure if it's necessary to format as FAT32, but I did indeed do this (so haven't tried it without) - experience with previous cars and indeed my Marantz system at home means I just do this automatically.Does the USB stick need to be formatted as fat32 and is their a limit on size?
Cheers
Yeah sure; https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/?id=63782Do you have the link for the carbon key cover? Is it a sticker or hard plastic cover?
Many thanks.
Sounds like it might be an iPhone thing, I'll just have to stick a load of music on my phone instead then and play it back from there. It seems happy with both for my (Android) phone - for the Android Auto Google maps feature at least. I don't store music on my phone so maybe that would confuse it?
Looking good [emoji106]. What spec of wheels have you gone for there?View attachment 12156

Tint and Wheels
Also +1 for the stoplock elite pro.
Easy to get on and off. Fits even more snug if you place the lock over the steering wheel controls, would then also need an additional cut if it was attempted to remove it by cutting the steering wheel.
These fit by the way (the SK I posted above) they are about 31 quid from amazon jp took about 7 days to get here (no customs charge) and 7 seconds to fit. Will post a picture when it gets darkI think you need these ones B0BK3GQ43D
