Well I've been following it for the same reasons, the answers are afaik:
- quite involved, need a lift and reach in for quite a few nuts and bolts hard to reach. A pro can do it in maybe 3h total, amateur will struggle for a day
- Bit lower note, hardly louder
@Phil1291 has maybe more to add, he has like five of them

Installation is quite easy with a lift. We‘ve done 5 so far.
First time took a bit over 4 hours for installation only, we‘re now down to 3 hours incl. a 15-20min testdrive.
It is a bit louder and sound seems to be a bit deeper/lower with more bass. Not much, but it feels like.
Car is faster. Like „a lot“.
It‘s now nearly as fast without the DTUK Box as it was with the Box with OEM Downpipe.
At least from 50-130kph.

My Toyota Dealer changed to the HJS in total 2.5h without dropping the Subframe, so it's definitely possible

that sounds then doable.

I haven't changed the cat, don't plan to at the moment but having changed my GPF I'd say that the cat doesn't look too bad, just a bit fiddly. Personally I'd leave the subframe alone and struggle around it. Subframe remove and refit ideally needs 4 wheel alignment doing afterwards adding more cost

Fitted mine today without a lift- right pig - in about 3.5 hours. I think spent about 2.5 hours to get the old one off and 1 hr to get the new one on. However I had some issues with the pressure tube as supplied by HJS.
How did you guys connect the HJS pressure time to the factory pressure tube? Was there a back to back barb in your box? I had to cut the end off the factory pressure pipe to make it work. I'm not impressed that I had to cannibalise the factory setup!!

Do you replace the gasket inside the turbo flange?
We always replace the gasket between the Downpipe and the DPF.

Same. I could not face trying to dig the gasket out the turbo.

The HJS downpipe was installed at Toyota Hasler in Nürnberg. The 10 HP more Power can be felt well.Helmut, who is your dealer? You're not that far away from me

Only for Completing, here are the Dyno Run Before and After HJSThe bigger gap in torque to the left shows the difference in response => improved turbine efficiency.
"Dyno" as in "very accurate acceleration test which produces a simulated power and torque graph". Hopefully on exactly the same road stretch and weather hasn't changed too much with at least 3 hours inbetween runs...

low end there's delta of 30-40Nm that is quite something.
