Lovely...

I cant believe some people are selling.

All this wait, to then sell, and make 3/4k

Think they'll be regretting that in a few years time.

Agree. Unless I have a life changing event, I can't imagine wanting rid.
Funny you should say that.

I've recently had life changing events, and have far fewer things in my life to make me happy. Currently sitting in a bar on my own some for Xmas.

The car arriving has helped me loads.

Although sadly it's not parked outside said bar lol

She'll have to wait til new year to be let out of the garage.

Sorry to hear that. Wishing you all the best and glad the car is helping. 👍

Pleased the car has brought you some respite.

All the best to you for the new year.

Look after yourself over the festive period, and it's great that the car has brought some positives.

All the very best for 2023.

Got up at 5.30am and went for a drive on empty roads. Don't really have much to add to the OPs assessment - even in the dark and damp, and trying to keep it under 4k, the car is an absolute blast. Thoroughly awesome machine. Can't wait until the spring when its getting light enough to do early drives regularly. Merry Christmas everyone.

I still haven’t took mine for a drive. 😞

I did give it a quick clean though after taking the wrap film off on Xmas Eve. Will try this weekend to take it out

Done 500 miles so far, it's passed the Penderyn test with flying colours, went to Aberystwyth and back yesterday no issues. Some of it is old commuting road and lots of muscle memory. I have muscle memory of certain sections where you turn in, get the car flat after the exit, get it stable then flick it in the the next corner, no brakes need. The timings of this is different so feels familiar and brand new too which is the exciting bit. Far less lean so you can get it turned in and on power sooner than other cars I'm used to. Very little roll in comparison too. I love momentum cars and this is one too. Holds it really well. So stable at mid to high speed bends. I sometimes over steer (not oversteer as in slide the rear) as the front end is so good. I love it. Bit tiring on the way back as conditions worsened and was dark but it didn't put a foot wrong. I did think at one point lights could be better as the difference between dipped and high beam wasn't that different but it is a lower car and lights moving when cornering is handy. I'm over the moon with it.

Loving all the updates on drives / feelings you are getting from these. Helps looking forward to my test drive on Thursday and then in my anticipation of the experiences I'll get come January. I think I'm going to put some serious miles on it as I'm 99% decided to let the Swift Sport go now and stick to a 2 car family. Maybe 20-25K per annum depending on Projects that I win / work on.😁
