Nothing at handover. Literally nothing. Fuel had one bar! I also don't seem to have the speaker engine sound. I didn't ask for it to be disabled but suddenly realised on my way home how quiet it was!

I think it only activates at higher revs, mine is quiet too

It's activated at higher revs or brisk acceleration.

On my test drive I noticed the augmented engine noise came in around 4.5k rpm.

Usual caveats apply - short test drive, moderate use of revs etc.

Perhaps a colleague who has collected and already used their car sufficiently to approach the running-in miles can comment...
 
HI All,
Late to the party as always!! I've got a an Ignition Red MT, ordered at around 10.50 (away on holiday when the ordering process changed, crap/no Internet connection, massive amounts of swearing 😅). Still on order being processed and no delivery date as yet. Congrats to those taking delivery, I'm not remotely jealous 😭

As this thread will hopefully capture as many of the U.K. allocation of GR86s as possible I’ve started to include any cars which appear for sale with a registration number.

Are we going to do an award for the first person to successfully run theirs in?

I'm on a paltry 78 miles, I had grand ideas of doing it in less than a week but it's a week before Christmas. Has anyone done it already!?

I'm up to about 400 miles so far I think. But won't have it back until Tuesday. That estimated annual milage of 4k that I told the insurance is looking unlikely :D

Left them all on. Guess they will for them all going forward. Can confirm head unit difference between demo. Does have dimples but that's fine as I'll JDM plate eventually. Only grief was the dealer has to go round taking photos which seems to be another new process for them. Apart from that all good. 10 miles on clock, bamboo box but no issho or key tags.

Very nice 😎 Liking the aero covers on the wheels 👍 Not so sure about the white roof & bonnet wrap 🤔 maybe better in black 👍😉
