Thought I'd start this thread for us Flippers to provide support and kindness to each other as we go through our flipping experiences.

We've all been through a lot, having moved to other cars due to the long and unclear delays after our initial orders.

As we provide a valuable service to those who will never otherwise be able to buy a delivery mileage GR86, we must resist the temptation to feel guilty about the small premium we will obtain for this service. Infact, if you divide the profit between the hours talking to Toyota, lurking on this forum and constantly updating friends and family with "there is no update", we aren't even getting minimum wage.

Let's be there for each other during this period. Please reach out and talk if you need to. Together we can get through this.

Well I would like to personally offer any poor poor flipper who got their car before me a lovely big cuddle to say thanks for the valuable service you offer (you definately could not have left the slot for a real buyer?) and for not using your car at all whilst i sit here everyday 🤬 off that can't go out and actually use my car.

Every day I get more annoyed I'll calm myself and think about the difficult times you are going through 😛

Sorry, the rest of the forum is for GR86 order victims. This thread is a safe space for flippers, thank you for respecting this.

Wow 😂 how to win friends and influence people.

I think I'll continue to share my feelings and thoughts here and anywhere else.

Hi everyone,

*Stands up*

My name is Luke and I’m a FACA (Flipping A Car Already) (pronounced Fak-ar)

The most difficult thing about the experience thus far has been finding a job opportunity abroad, getting divorced, getting re-married, having a child and getting my wife-husband-mistress pregnant in order to ensure I have a variety of excuses to give to potential buyers…

I have started a trello board and Microsoft whiteboard to begin tracking my many excuses and the corresponding advert I will put up…

What makes it worse is that the wife promised me I could buy a manual 3.0 Supra if I flipped the GR but, because the APR has rocketed I’ve been told the money is better spent elsewhere #firstworldproblems

As no one has bought my GR yet I am unable to wipe away my tears with money and have had to result to using triple ply bog roll 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Thank you FACA Luke for opening up. It's a difficult subject but openness and honesty will allow us to get through this.

Please allow me to congratulate you on your new job, your new wife, your ex-wife, your new child and the all round strength of your virility. Although it's a shame you have had to opt for a more practical vehicle, I'm sure your family will appreciate the extra space and leg room provided by the Supra.

Please be patient and keep the faith. I understand how upsetting this period can be and we all need to make sure we prioritise our wellness. With that said, I will now go and cover the sound of my sobbing with the rasp of a flat 6.
