GR86 The GR86 “The Orders / Owners List / GR86 Register”

It’s becoming a bit of a challenge to pick up if folk have taken delivery of their car. Can folk please make a post in this thread when they get theirs , any help from @Will300 , @beorg and @ZN8 to keep the list updated will be great 👍

Wonder if yours was a cancellation? You ordered just after me and I'm still processing (not that I mind I would prefer a spring /summer collection anyway) What did you order?

Hmm I guess it could be? When I looked at the tracking status there are no date/timestamps in the GUI (website or app) that show when it was built and when it was shipped etc, so it could have all gone to plan via that process and I simply wasn't watching, or I guess it could be a cancellation and even if I had been watching the status it would have skipped those steps straight to 'it's in Derby', who knows.

I ordered the lighter silver, MT. I will call them in a bit to see what's the score. I'm not over the moon about potentially driving it straight onto salted roads but I'd still take that over another 6 month / indeterminate wait. I'm very slightly mildly excited again, after basically ignoring it and forgetting all about it for most of this year.

I think that is a factory fitted price for the spoiler. My dealer sent me a print off that they get through the parts system and it states £511.91 fitted (or £348.11 retail only).
It seems strange they update the configurator with options after you cant actually buy one anymore. I guess its just a general web update. Maybe dealer fit option but as part of the spec of the car then its all something which is ready at collection, rare factory fits mud flaps.
Hope to get ducktail fitted unless it slows handover significantly and front mud flaps. :)

I'm trying out these guys as they're fairly local, and seem to have a good reputation - https://www.pyramidcarcare.co.uk/car-detailing-worcester/
Oh you're very local to me then - I'm Malvern. I'd be interested to know how the ceramic treatment goes - whether you recommend use/avoid them as they're just up the road for me too. I was thinking I'd DIY but maybe the first ever coat should be a pro job, not sure if it makes much difference, I'm very particular but don't know if it's a skilled job or not / whether DIY coatings are the same as the pro ones or not.

I think the ceramic coating is the easy bit, it's getting the prep work done first which is harder, which is why I'm leaving it to the pros. Not had a ceramic coating done before, but looking forward to see the difference it makes.

Collection scheduled for midday tomorrow. Forgot to ask if the mudflaps arrived or have been installed.

Dealer unsure whever they have any goodies in stock, so if anyone has a spare Issho, please let me know lol

Will update the OP once I have the keys @AndyRC :)

When are you booked in for? Would love to see some before/after photos
