GR Yaris Ooooo! An update!

Any fellow Grand Pearl people… what do you make of this? Tracking malfunction or is it actually drifting east broadside to the wind?

Just had a check this morning suspect they’ve got a technical issue with the vessel. It’s still underway using engine on AIS but has been drifting at under 2hrs for hours in a shipping lane so would expect to see something like not under command.

It probably waiting for clearence to pass through the Gibralter Straight I did wonder why the ETA slipped to next Saturday when its only 3-4 days from there to UK!

I pick mine up Wednesday afternoon. Exciting!
Enjoy the day Madcat luckily for me I picked up a new one last year so have been lucky enough to own one prior to this one arriving feel for all those that have waited so long!

i'll have paid the bastard off by the time it gets here

It's still pinging back and forth east of Gibraltar but given the ETA at Portbury has slipped by 4 days (to Monday) I guess it can loiter for a good while yet and still be on time. Maybe they just need to kill time if their original slot got missed and this is the safest/calmest place to do it vs the north Atlantic.

I think you are spot on makes sense there is no slot to unload at Portbury and easier to float around there than the Atlantic
