Thought it was well overdue to have a thread for myself (as I usually just stick everything into the 'What did you do to your GR Yaris today' thread)

Car bought August 2021

Mods so far:
Rallyflapz (initially red, then changed to satin black)
Tegiwa mirror riser
Retrimmed alcantara steering wheel by Control Customs
Powerflex front camber bolts
Hardrace adjustable rear camber arms
String Theory adjustable springs
Geo'd at String Theory and Abbey Motorsport
Whifbitz Titanium cat-back exhaust
Whifbitz Titanium GPF delete pipe
'Half' wrap, ceramic coating and detail by Race by Design
HEL Performance brake lines
Airtec enclosed intake
Carbon gear knob

Bits still to go on the car:
EBC Bluestuff pads
Verkline and Super Pro droplinks
Aluminum wheel nuts
P-Def Brake shims
Powerflex Upper Engine, Upper Gearbox and Lower Torque Mounts
DNA Racing Top Mounts
Hardrace front strut brace

Plans:
BC Racing ER Series coilovers with 8kg springs
Yokohama AD09 245/40
Pro Alloy Intercooler
Hardrace extended wheel studs
Rear strut brace, harness and seat
Lithium battery + charger
and probably a few more...

Pick up day, seems so long ago now, ventured to the National Motorbike Museum about an hour after before heading for a weekend in the Peak District...promised myself to run in the car properly...

Next up some Rallyflapz (subsequently replaced as the gloss red was doing my head in!)

Next up was a trip to the Isle of Man

Then a little wrap by Race by Design

Before a mad dash out to the French Alps to avoid the ban of British tourists last Christmas

Then that trip was cut a little prematurely when I injured myself and so my mate had to come out and drive me back home, drove past Reims-Gueux on the way

After those exploits she was treated to a full ceramic coating and detailing

Then the Whifbitz exhaust, weighed in at 7kg

In May 2022 she went up to String Theory for the day

Still loving every minute

Do you have any pics of the steering wheel?

I'm thinking I might want this done myself, could you give an idea what it cost?

£200 including postage in both directions, took about a week. I got 10% off because Control Customs were already doing 2-3 other GRY steering wheels at the same time. I asked for a thicknesser and it's come back exactly how I wanted.

Car looks brill, I love the wrap. Really curious to see what the spoiler looks like when fitted so please post pics when it’s done!

I will, it actually turned up with a hairline fracture (done in transit) so I changed my mind on getting it painted and instead I will get it wrapped in gloss black. Have a buddy who’s due back down south in December that can wrap the wing for me, then it’s a case of Tiger Seal and some patience and I’ll fit the wing myself…what can go wrong?

What a shame, but good it can be fixed. I’m aware they are purely cosmetic rather than load bearing, so main question for me is which to pick vs TOM’S! Apart from price, I am undecided on looks and quite like the appearance of this one, but interesting to see it on a car with a normal rear bumper set up ie no vents cut as previous photos of the HT one have those.

Wing comes primed but I rubbed it down to smooth it off, off to the wrappers later today.

Hi
Painted but needed quite a bit of prep even though HTA state 90% done. Then bonded on as didn’t want to screw it on.

EVENTURI INTAKE
TOM’S SIDE SKIRTS
TRD FRONT SPLITTER
ENHANCE PERFORMANCE WITH OPF DELETE AND SPORTS CAT
ULTIMATE OPF BACK BOX
AIRTEC QUICKSHIFT
TURBOSMART BOV
WAGNER TURBO INLET
DTUK STAGE 2 UPDATED V2 Thanks Andrew DtUK
CARBON CERAMIC COATED
HTA COROLLA GR4 SPOILER
CANCHECK
PRIVATE PLATE

I think the fracture in my one would reappear in paint. It’s still there a little bit with the wrap but it’s not going to get any worse. I will bond mine too with Tiger seal. In two minds whether to PPF on top/re-PPF the original wing as gloss black is notorious for showing up fine scratch marks.

I had the same and I got my bodyshop to PPF the spoiler only and it seems ok, I did treat it to a paint protection seal
