So when are the last UK cars (ordered first few days of July '21) due to be built/shipped/arrive in the UK ?

AFAIK the latest anyone has been told by Toyota so far is November....but as an early June order I'm already expecting December/January based on other people's experience of the process

If my car arrives on the date I'm told now, it'll have been 534 days, 17 and a half months. If the delivery timeframe remains the same.. that'd have final delivery around Christmas, that'd be the early July orders if I remember right.

This puts me mid/late November, so I hope you're right and I'm just pessimistic ha

Yeah, I hope I'm right... but every factory down day likely will add to that. Let's hope they aren't too many going forward!

So the JW8 went into build on wednesday 24th and my JW99 went into build today :) So its only 3-4 days to get through one digit in production.
 
Don’t want to get people hopes up but my JW4*** when into build 24th June and yesterday it was “called off” meaning they didn’t have the parts to fulfill the build so will be built in the next batch. Great! Was meant to be arriving 25th Oct but now who knows…
 
Here's another for you guys.

My JW1*** went into build on June 26th. I got a notification a couple of days ago to say the car had been shipped - YAY!

Shortly after, my dealer called me to tell me my order had been cancelled (as had another they had on order, 3 days after I placed my order).

I told them I had a dispatch notification, and they're as confused as I am. They've raised it with Toyota UK, but there's no reply yet.

This car doesn't know if it's going for a haircut or a shite.

We are in limbo - pretty disappointed with the whole process now. Delay after delay, and now possibly cancelled? Ordered 04/05/2021.

where did you get this information from? i've yet to see another like this.

Mine went into build and had the called off status too in dev tools, also on the 24th June. I didn't get any update saying called off, it always was that way in dev tools. I actually mentiond it on the first post in this thread.

I've heard of JW8 and JW9 in build. Hang in there!

Have you got a vin on developer tools? In MyT on a computer?
 
“Called off” means build has been cancelled. The batch didn’t get completed Toyota told me due to parts shortages.
Good news is our cars are still going to be built but in the next batch as a priority.

Appologies if I sounded sceptical as this car and the wait is making me go mad with paranoia thinking allsorts o_O hopefully we can all be happy by the end of the year.

😂 totally agree! The day when everyone finally has theirs will be a miracle. Just think all of ours now will be the very last ones…

Mine said called off after it left factory. It still arrived a few days earlier than shown on the estimated delivery on the developer tools so wouldn't take to much notice of it.
