GR Yaris Oi! Oi! Savaloy!

That said, someone on the other forum who ordered May 3rd, and a JW1 just got a shipped notification
I was checking in the hope of seeing a VIN, not the date moving back another 3 weeks! 😠
Fingers crossed that they arrive before Christmas 🎅

You won't get a VIN on the app until the car is activated at the dealer.

If you ordered via a dealer you should be able to get the VIN once the car is on a ship, that's if your contact is willing to check. If you purchased online then the call centre will be able to give you this, again once it's on a ship.

I wonder if colour and spec makes a difference, possibly built in batches.

They aren't as far as I can tell, there is footage of the production line with LHD and RHD on the same line, and in different colours, one after another.

This is correct, but you can see the vin before dealer activation from the JSON payload in browser developer tools.

I have a VIN :)

Delivery date changed back to 11th October (had changed to 1st November)

I'm still intrigued how we've ordered the same spec to the same country, with an earlier order date and somehow I'm behind in the queue. Maybe dealer took a little while to get the order in with Toyota maybe. My MyT activation came through on the 2nd May.

So confusing this system, but on the plus side a platinum pearl white in the spec spec to my country was just shipped so that's good news no matter what.

Mine arrived at dealer today ..! My salesperson , who has been excellent , is away till Saturday , so aiming to pick it up next Friday week. 1 more week of walking , cadging lifts , getting the bus to work , or asking the CEO for lifts 😊

I suspect an update can't be far away now for you. Fingers crossed.

Same, I'm hoping it'll be within the next week now... depends when the next boat is due out I guess.

Knowing my luck the fucker is going to sink.

Did you work out what boat this was?

I made a guess, so I might be tracking the wrong one ;)
(as see it as a bit of fun tracking the vessel, so if it's the wrong one and a day or two early or late it doesn't really matter)

I followed the advice give here https://www.gr-zoo.com/threads/how-to-ship-tracking-from-nagoya.10/

My guess work/detective work
  1. Created a free account on fleetmon.com (allows for more history and GPS tracking of your fleet)
  2. Look at the port history for "JPNGO" https://www.fleetmon.com/ports/nagoya-ko_jpngo_10713/#tab-port-call-history
  3. Filter for length, something like 195 - 205m (Apparently they have all been 199M, the one I'm tracking is 199.X but showed up as 200m)
  4. Select a date range for the 2-3 days before your "left factory" date, up to and including the left factory date.
  5. Now look at all the "Vehicle carrier" vessels and any that were in the port for between 1½ and 3 days, add to "My Fleet" (The Big Star at the end)
Now you have some ships in "My Fleet" you can track them (including GPS location, as AIS only works near land) and see where they go. If they are heading in the wrong direction, you can remove them from your fleet.

This is mine (hopefully), might give you some ideas of other things to check.

Thanks! Found a couple of contender ships, though still going to track yours just in case mine made it on the same boat is yours

Casiopeia Leader is moored outside Nagoya atm, looks like a good contender but the berths at Toyota are currently full.

Not sure if it’s helpful or even still the same, but I seem to remember the ‘left the factory’ notifications would come through around three days after the ship has left from Nagoya.

Also look at the expected arrivals in Portbury(Bristol). look for closest estimated arrival date that is close to listed eta at Portbury for your car on Chrome developer tools. Cross reference that with the vessels that have left the Toyota dock and you should be able to pin point it. Worked perfect for me.

Have you got a date yet?

Cassiopeia Leader has docked North of the bridge, I'm not sure if it is the correct place.

Porgy is in the dock at the moment - Edit: but isn't showing up at Bristol, so perhaps not a valid one.

I haven't got a date yet, but thanks to the extra deets here about finding stuff landing (the arrivals and departures from port were the real key).... I did find out about Porgy last night... I think when I looked at the data on Porgy it arrived during Saturday at some point.

Interestingly, Cassiopeia Leader is also moored up just a couple of berths north of Porgy, that's also a 200x32.

--edit--

According to fleetmon, Cassiopeia Leader is at E5.
