Evening All, I attended the British Motor Show today and was gutted to find nearly all manufacturers there except Toyota! However at the end of the show I went into the electric cars area and found this!! It was in the best cars section - looked lovely in the flesh but no one on the stand so I couldn’t get inside!

Ha ha, maybe?! It was bizarre though as was really hidden away and whereas every other stand is well manned - this one wasn’t so couldn’t speak to anyone about it. Also meant to say it was parked next to a Kia EV6 and looked tiny in comparison!

Ooh it's a UK spec one too, unlike the one at Goodwood. Probably the same car that tuned up at the MR2 day...
Unless it's one they've dragged from Derby haha

So not the one I was lucky enough to sit inside at Goodwood.

At least it proves the UK ones actually exist (well 1 does anyway!)

Damn,. I made other plans instead of going to this specifically because Toyota weren't there!!

£23 to have a blast over and try and fit it quickly? 🤔 tempting, desperate times!

My apologies @SRGardening , it wasn't meant as a criticism of your photo; more a comment on the car's styling and how it looks from that angle. No offence meant!

The rear view from standing position (especially with those rather plain Vauxhall Insignia lights) is my very least favourite view of what is overall a handsome car.

Thanks for the photos, I wonder if this is the same car I sat in a while ago at the MR2 day. I should have carved my initials somewhere...

Interestingly that shows as taxed from 1st June with the correct details on DVLA ...and it's recognised as a GR86 on the Direct Line website so we should be able to get insurance quotes now

ETA: nope, Direct Line still threw a fit at the end of the form
 
Oh man, that rear view makes my heart sink… Went to drive a very late GT86 this morning to refresh my memory and they really do look better resolved than the GR from the rear…
