I doubt that TUK have even “fessed up to THQ in Japan that they had an “Early Bird“ offer ( a bit nicer than rogue 🤣) for those who could find the secret link🤔 I’m guessing the Early Bird cars came out of the 400. Unsurprisingly no mention of Early Birds in any car reviews.

Hi there mate, thank you for the welcome! I'm sorry, I thought our markets shared the same names for the colours! Thunder Blue should be the equivalent of your Electric Blue (I wonder why they had to change the name for each country and make this mess, instead of keeping things nice and simple...)

Might be worth emailing Toyota. I have a 10.14 order confirmation and within a few days it was on the web and app as an order (still under processing currently). Maybe just your order and your MyT account are not sync'd.

It shows up on the website under purchased, but nothing else so far. It's not on the app at all. I was waiting for my call before alerting Toyota, hopefully that's not too far away, although I've been saying that for a while now!

Nope, in Italy all the coulours are (were) a free optional (although the MSRP il a little higher than in Germany)... 35K € for the Base model (all included) and about 37K € for the Premium, so I can't really complain about that :D

Do you have any idea how many GR86 are being allocated to Italy 🇮🇹, I’d read 200 in Germany and 50 in Poland 🤔

Do you have a link to the GR86 Sales Brochure in Italian?

These lads, who are long term Toyota customers, missed out on a GR86 (bad internet connection apparently) and are off to see the dealer who took their pre-order deposit🤣

My dealership told me a couple of weeks ago that the showroom GR86 which is arriving in June will be available for those with confirmed orders at that dealership to drive (by invititation).
Yesterday I was told that the car would be in the showroom mid June. Said I was looking forward to a drive and was told that the car would remain in the showroom!!??
Another piece to the puzzling jigsaw of snippets and confusion.
BUT......I have a car on the way and that's all that matters..... it is what it is.
Patience is a virtue....who said that?
 
If dealerships take ownership of them then I can guarantee there’ll be no extended test drives etc, they’ll want to baby them and keep miles down for resale. Can see Toyota doing something like that to appease the GR Centres etc.

If there are no more GR86 being made after the two year allocation have been fulfilled.....
Hope there isn't too obvious an answer on this question coming up....
What is the point of having them in the showrooms....the Toyota sales teams will go nuts having to tell potential customers that they've all been sold!

TUK never envisaged selling out in 90 minutes and AFAIK the demo cars were only ever going to GR centres. I’m guessing that if TUK cannot access any more cars the demos will be offered to the 1000 on the waiting list PDQ

And test drives may will probably be “accompanied” to make sure said GR86 with delivery miles is not ragged senseless by one of those luck folk with an ORCA and an invitation to drive one 😉

Interestingly, that typo now appears to have been corrected - I wonder whether Tim Pollard or anyone else at CAR has been monitoring this thread...
