GR Yaris Can you increase power by lengthening wastegate actuator rod?

Does anyone remember the famous spanish tuner thread? Was linked on various mitsubishi Forums where a bloke from Spain cut daimond shapes into the hemispheric portion of the cylinder head between the valves.. Anyone remember it? Was around 2008(?)

I remember it well.
There was also another one involving a Greek guy who was claiming outrageous power figures.

I did a search on MLR the other day for the Spanish tuner thread, it’s still there but the pictures have gone.
The other mentioned above was the Cypriot tuning house that were using pictures of a crankshaft they had developed but in fact the pictures were from an American company. Marios was defending the Cypriot and got really nasty and ended up with a ban. He still pops up on MLR occasionally.

Having re-read the thread on the other forum I’m convinced it’s Vertical Scope posting controversial comments to increase the visits to the site.
 
It's not working then, I have subsequently logged out for like the first time ever and have forgotten my login and haven't bothered to get a new one yet...
