That would make perfect sense, kind of expected that was the case. Toyota will prioritise their domestic market first. Unfortunately by the time the initial hype tails off, and the world recovers from shortages over the next 2 years, it will already be time up in Europe. I still don't believe 400 is the lot, but I imagine there may be only another 400 next year.

All speculation though. Will stop derailing the thread now.

My first visit here.
I've got a 'confirmed' order for a Sapphire Blue Manual.
They have taken my deposit and I received two emails, but nothing else as yet.
My confirmation email was at 11.33 so I'm in the sweaty palms club I guess, waiting to see what happens next...
 
Hopefully it’s been a good week for most folk and next week order numbers should be confirmed by a phone call🤞

If the ”400” allocation number is correct we will already have about 1/3 of GR86 owners on the forum Which is great news. This thread has been extremely busy this week , and I’m sure next week will be no different. Please try and avoid “thread drift” but do start a fresh one for topics of interest to you 👍

If I get a mid to late 23 date I'll seriously be considering whether or not I go ahead with my order... The reason for that being that I need a car for work and my Celica is getting on. Everyone's circumstance is different I guess.
