Yeah it would definitely work If you already have a catless header. If i were doing a N/A or S/C build though i would get the JDL catted header which has the exact same cat. They only do it in UEL though.

It also depends if you want to keep the gpf as that is in the position where my cat now is.

Very tempting, my issue is actually the opposite to yours. My car is too quiet even after the UEL and tune. I wanted to replace the front pipe with GPF for something louder but not sure about going straight through.

Yeah this is probably as a result of our cat-back systems. The AWE is very loud I actually chose it for this reason because of the GPF. On a standard UK car it was great. loud on throttle, quiet when cruising, but it quickly became VERY loud with the other changes I have made. Now, with my current setup it's about perfect. I imagine that if I had a quieter cat-back the car would now sound rather underwhelming.

Where are you based? I'll probably be looking to sell my decat front pipe soon if you want to try it out.

I am in Basingstoke, it would be interesting to see if the decat front pipe will bring the sound I wanted. Do want to keep it track legal in case I am taking it on track.

Now that the front pipe is fitted I found myself at a bit of a loss as to what I can browse the internet for at lunch time. I ended up buying a Whiteline gearbox mount insert and a MCA traction mod. 🏳️ I'm very curious about the traction mod, as I have always found this car to be way more tail-happy than it feels like it should be

Other things on my mind are potentially getting the stock wheels powder coated. I'm not a fan of black wheels at all, and would prefer to have my car looking prettier when i put the winter setup back on.

How about something like ‘Black Copper Effect’ for that bit of Winter bling? Here’s what it looks like on my OEM wheels (GY Vector 4Seasons fitted). I think it might look even better on a Black car ...

They are very nice, but I think I'm going to go for a colour quite commonly seen on some other blue cars 🤭

I have the traction mode v2 and is good. Car is more planted, not as tail happy. You can get a better LSD too

I haven't installed any of the new parts that came this week, but i finally got round to installing the steering wheel spacer i picked up off another member ages ago.
It was actually really simple to install with a decent youtube guide from the manufacturer. I havent tested it on a propper drive yet, but a quick drive up my street confirmed that the wheel was straight. This only took one attempt, i promise.

The driving position feels great with the extra reach. Can't wait to test it out properly.
