Has anyone tried BC Racing coilovers, either BR or DS series (or others)?
Curious what effect they have on ride quality, composure and traction on lumpy B roads. All are weak points on the GR so looking to make some improvements.

I have no experience with BC coilovers but what weak areas are you trying to improve on the GR86?

Poor ride quality, can't put power down on bumpy roads without the rear end breaking traction and snapping out of line. Compared to the Elises and Evoras I'm used to, the damping feels crude. Less comfortable and less composed on road and track

It sounds like you'd benefit from the MCA or GKTECH rear traction arm mod, it does exactly what you're after in terms of rear stability.

BC have a good following from the likes of the drift crowd and BMWs but not so much on this chassis or it's predecessor. They aren't viewed very fondly over the US, most are told to steer clear.

I think you are expecting too much out of the GR86. Its like comparing Lidl Bordeaux with a bottle of 1970's Margaux. Also, not sure what tyres you are running, that makes a huge difference too. Also, check tyre pressures, running at factory pressure is too high, try around 30lb hot.
