GR86 How many of each colour?

Was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of how many of each colour were sold in the UK?

Had a google and looked on here but not found anything yet…

Blue will cover sapphire and electric blue, but everything else covers one paint code as far as I’m aware.

That's a fair spread actually. I'd imagine the electric blue is the rarest colour.

I'm sure someone said it was less then 200 of the Electric Blue as they run out and some had to select a different colour.

Wasn't Electric Blue only available for the initial batch of around 400 cars? So possibly less than 100?

I welcome any suggestions for improving the visuals or what other data you'd like to see.

Of the 29 GR86 for sale on Autotrader, only 1 is electric blue.

I remember electric blue being the most popular colour in the first batch, but then there were another 1100 or so where you couldn't get it, so maybe the "blue" is an equal split of both.

I don't really understand why almost every new car seems to be just some shade of grey...

I agree with you, it's so boring. I'm sure there used to be more of a selection, say 20 years ago! I saw in the States, Subaru released a purple BRZ which I don't think i would buy but happy its out there

I initially ordered in black then say a grey one and thought it looked amazing so changed.

I would probably have gone for the Smurf blue, but for second batchers like me, only Pensioner Blue was an option

I can’t even remember why I went for grey, because I don’t really like the colour that much! At least not when compared to the light blue, dark blue, and red.

It wasnt available when I ordered mine in September 23
