GR Yaris Martelius gpf back

Has anyone tried this gpf back with or without the muffler option?

I've narrowed it down to this exhaust now but the only thing I've read that I'm not sure of is on the tegiwa comparison the db levels are as high as the remus but its said to middle ground on the noise scale with the ear.

I have this exhaust as GPF back with no centre resonator and it's not bad at all in the car. There's no drone at motorway cruising speed and no odd resonant frequencies that i've noticed. I use my car everyday to and from work (including school runs!) and it's not a tiring sound to hear.
It's bloody loud when you first fire up on cold start but then again, all the after market ones are to some degree or another.

Not sure where you're located, but if it's South East then you're more than welcome to come and hear it in the flesh - Youtube vids never really do them justice.

I got it fitted last weekend.

I'm really happy with the sound but like you say its loud one startup .

I have been getting the odd bit of done and booming at certain revs, unlike I've heard anywhere else talked about. I am getting it re-adjusted tomorrow though as its banging and knocking over bumps, so hopefully it may just be some resonance from where its too close to whatever its hitting.

I also bought the muffler to fit tomorrow too after those loud 0400 starts. I had a chat with martelius direct they have said I'll loose approx 5db and some of the higher pitched soumds but should keep all of the character unaffected, fingers crossed!

I'm in Hull, it would have been great to hear one before buying.

Ahh, I should have said, but you also need the fake engine noise and ANC turned off too or it won't sound right in the car. My friend turned it off using Carista for me.

Not been on for a while.

I did have these disabled before fitting.

I got the muffler fitted after this. Its still sounds decent and I think a lot would prob prefer it but I prefer it without and will be removing it at some point.

Reason I'm removing is the cold start is exactly the same it takes a lot of the raspiness and volume out of it once driving.

Like I say I still really enjoy the sound I just prefer the raw edge without the muffler fitted.
