GR Supra Interesting review of the b58

Engine is great. The cars it sits in are not so appealing to me though. Foremost because of substantial weight...

I have M135i N55. the GRY has actually made me appreciate the M135i more because of its "grand touring" capabilities (mostly due to its engine).
The chassis of the M135i is crap for the power of the engine and it needs an LSD, although it has nice steering.
The GRY has made me think about getting a strut brace for the M135i.
 
So are we mixing up B58 with S58 in above comments? Or do both Greg and Deacon own a new M3/X3/4M/4?

S58 has a different block with different bore and stroke...

yep, I was hi-jacking......X3M

doesnt have the low down torque of the B58 which is better in every day driving scenarios. But i do like the way the power comes in just below 3krpm and just builds and builds.

S58 doesnt sound very good from the front though...a bit diesel-esque from a combination of forged internals and injection system. The sound out the back is decent enough considering the cats/OPF (once the exhaust valves are locked open!)
