It looks that way. I guess it is not possible to remote start a manual as it is usually parked in gear.
Yeah, it is only a feature for automatic ones, one more reason i chose it here, where it gets cold.

A car registered that early can only be Toyota UK stock which has a caveat from them that it can only be sold after 18 months.
Unfortunately up to this moment, New Prius, CHR, And Yaris has it, and other upcoming models/refreshes, older cars wont get it.aww I want that for the Mk1 lol
Its how it contacts the car to work as a digital key. And yes it became possible and active in app since 4th November.
Seems to look like a genuine ad to me. Maybe they’ve just gone rogue on TGB, couldn’t say I’d blame them tbh. But if that is the case why advertise for overs if you can’t buy it?
Dealers have been doing it for years a few have even posted on the yaris FB group and then been ripped to shreds before removing the ads.
But as I said that’s a dealer or press car as it’s registered when the demo’s started arriving at dealers, customer cars were from October.

Vicki doesn’t like the auto much. No surprise.
I like her reviews and this goes for most reviewers but their job should be an unbiased review comparing against other makes/models and not bringing their dislikes to the table. She did a short video earlier in the week saying it’s a hot hatch it shouldn't be an auto.
It should also be noted in this video she runs the car in normal mode and not sport for the gearbox and throttle mapping which will explain the gear change delay she mentioned. Compare that to the Blitz video I posted above where the reviewer offers a balanced approach and whilst he concedes that petrol heads will want the auto he goes on to say he actually owns the auto himself!
So I got the car today and it's awesome. One thing that I noticed immediately is when I open the door, the glass drops down in some time, there is a noticeable delay. This causes glass to rub on the black rubber surrounding the window. Is there a specific procedure for opening the doors?
Can you demonstrate, a video or something ? I dont have any issues, even with wind deflectors.
