GR86 What did you do with your GR86 today

Just got a new mobile phone which I connect using Android Auto.
No issues with my old phone but with the new one, I can hardly hear calls when I receive them.
I went in to settings in the sound menu and the ''call volume'' only has a range of -6 to +6 whereas all the others are -38 to +38.
I've swapped the cable but this makes no difference and the phone volume on the handset is at the highest.
Has any one got any clues as to how I sort this or is it a trip to the dealers ?
Pic attached.
Thanks .

Android has separate sliders for different type of audio. Try adjusting volume on the phone during a call (whilst connected to Android auto).
Or alternatively see if there is a button showing below the slider when you adjust volume, which allows you to choose what volume you’re changing (ringer, alarm, media, call volumes etc.) and change it there.

Came to the car in the morning, as I saw the “Czech Holy Grail” parked next to me (usually the spot is empty) and as I saw the way it’s parked, I checked my doors…
“Love thy neighbour” or whatever 🤬

On the positive note, I took the car to a garage, where they will change my tires for a winter ones, fit a new exhaust and have the car detailed. To fit the exhaust and 4 tires into the car was quite a challenge, but it fit with the fourth tire on a passenger seat 😅

At this point i feel like the "fits four wheels and tyres" marketing spiel was a bit of a modest flex. There's room to spare.

It stops the cover from 'b
Forgive my stupidity, but what does the net do that the cover doesn't?
Our house faces SthWest and the driveway is like a wind funnel during the Winter so the car car cover (although strapped underneath) will often inflate in the breeze. The net is there to prevent the cover from ballooning during high winds and stops any annoying 'flapping', yet will not detract from the cover's ability to breathe. They are also used when transporting cars on trailers to prevent the same ballooning effect.

Sonic, you're car is like a Kobe beef cow, only you don't eat it afterwards 👏

I heard Sonic has bought himself some matching stockings to go with the car cover 😲

Which Borla exhaust are you fitting? Been eyeing the S-Type for quite a while, but won't pull the trigger until Spring at the earliest in any case. Would be interested in your thoughts.

Dealer phoned to say they'd have to rearrange the service because, guess what, they couldn't get a filter. Good thing I bought one ahead of time then... 2nd service said it included oil filter, air filter and fuel filter. Anything else? I don't have the manual in front of me. Told them not to do air because I'd done that myself with a panel filter.

I would perhaps look to change the diff oil also. The schedule from memory is 20000 miles or every four years however with the BRZ I always changed at 2 years and intend to do so on the GR.

Brake fluid.
Diff oil is every 20k so that's usually every other service. Even if you're not there yet, I'd just ask them to do it, relatively cheap.

They should have nipped up the M4 to Fish Bros of Swindon. They're behind the 'Toyota Direct Parts' web site and must have shelves of them as they readily sell their oil & oil/air/cabin package for £87 delivered with no problem.

I got the S-type. I was considering the Awe touring for a while, but that might be too much. So from all the reviews and clips I’ve seen of many exhaust, the S-type fits what I wanted. Will get the car back tomorrow, so I hope it will match the expectations 😅
