Cheers chaps, I knew it was by the 26th but I'm feeling impatient and was hoping it might be earlier than the 26th!
come on they have dragged out every announcement on this. There’s no way they will share this info before 2359 on the 26th

If I am to guess it has been moved into a menu and will be more annoying to deactivate. As far as I know auto start/stop must reenable itself when the car is turned on per regulations.
I’ve been through the manual and couldn’t see anything.

Maybe its now true auto start/stop?
My app never worked in fact my order wont appear on my app as Toyota explained to me. If i dont see my order today i will never see it on my app. so i went to the dealer and asked directly. they can see the process on their software
If we're lucky, they added a shortcut on the touchscreen to disable all "help"-features (Mercedes did a similar thing).
I wouldn't count on it. Being Toyota these things are always well hidden and not easily accessible. I hope they make an exception for the GRY though..

Ballot deadline passed and I didn’t throw in. I’m not spending £60k on a special edition (as much as I actually really like that KRP paintwork) and as much as the facelift will be a quicker car it’s not worth the premium imo. Similar situation I had with my fiesta ST. The Mk8 is a better and faster car, but it wasn’t worth the increase in cost over the Mk7 so I didn’t swap it in.
Man, do special editions always have to get the 'look-like-shit' treatment?
I mean, even BMW M cars and Mustangs, along with all those other low-volume limited editions, end up with these absurd paint jobs. If it's not some ridiculous 'racing' stripes, it's an idiotic camo pattern that looks like a toddler's art project.
I swear, if I ever bought a GRMN (which I still plan on), the very first thing I'd do is slap some sense into it by painting that black, riced-out carbon bonnet to match the body color. Enough with the tacky designs already!

Totally agree with you. Very little technical differences to the standard car, and the additional warranty disclaimers are not a good thing.
The only plus I see is the Ogier paint, that I hope will be added to the standard range some day.
I agree it looks cool but have tou seen the maintainence schedule for it. Great xhoice if you have a butler. Other than the lairey spoiler they're mostly just different split settings. Could some tuner not provide me with a "donut" launch button in the glovebox?
