It was on the list for March but as dealers haven’t had any info or the motoring press I suspect we won’t be seeing anything in the next 1.5weeks for sure.

With a worldwide shortage of chips I know I’d divert the resources to the largest profit margin items which I doubt is the 86.
 
That's from the German site though right? Haven't they just sold all there orders in Germany?
Not an issue for us if so?

Seems very odd that it went on preorder with just Germany and not the rest of Europe?

As we now have the U.K. launch information available courtesy of @Richard Mckay 👍 , and as there will only be one U.K. model, effectively the Premium, I’ve updated and reset the poll to accommodate the colour choices. If you are planning on ordering please vote for for your choice of transmission and colour 👍
 
So are these the correct UK colour names?

Is electric blue the same as Neptune/bright blue in other countries?

Don't want to order the wrong colour!
 
Hoping to reserve an Electric blue MT today, called a dealer yesterday and they offered me a silly part ex price (50% of its market value!) so having to go elsewhere 🤣

All of the information from Toyota in Europe and the U.K. describes Ignition Red and Electric Blue as “pearlescent“ paint finish, but I believe they are both “solid” colours 🤔 I have asked Toyota U.K. to clarify this point.

They are Subaru Tricoat colours. There are 2 different shades of base coat applied under the top coat which give off a different appearance dependant on the lighting conditions. I wouldnt consider them pearl in the way that we normally see, they do look solid.

I take it the Pearl White is the pearlescent white we are accustomed to on Toyotas 🤔
 
Have to admit I'd love to have seen the GR86 in the GRY metallic red, think it would look great. Also a British Racing Green would look nice. But like you say, its Subaru colours by the sounds of it - I do like the WRC blue you cant get on the Toyota though :ROFLMAO:. Anyone else always want what you cant have!! :)
