GR Yaris Winter wheels..

Got the Braids installed. ET35 17x7J. More space between wheel and brake saddle than with ProTrack One 17x9J ET45.
One wheel is not straight (center hub is rocking) - asked from reseller and Braid what to do.

Not maybe going after claim as tyre specialist said it has likely only small effect. Winter use also more or less althought thought to use them for summer gravel. But unlikely to exceed 160kmh
I hear you guys to the north over the baltic sea get some heavy speeding fines these days, Helsinki always amazes me with how many speed cameras are around, no wonder why everyone drives sensible in Finland.

yes heard some have gotten them - Fines can bi ridiculous if your salary or incomes in general are higher.
I drove on strange road one month ago and got flashed by a camera but luckily haven't seen yet any ticket. Better to stay on small roads..

Cheers - i can check the wheels more in detail once fiddling with the car this weekend. Have been really busy and also Ill for 3wks now so has taken its toll. Btw ’bad ’ wheels are now installed to rear wheels - should I test them in front axle to see if they cause any excessive vibration or what would you recommend?

I bought some cheap Italian ones originally fitted to an Evo. They were black but I had them powder coated gold. I did look for 18" Toyota ones but there were none local to me. They are lighter than my Speedlines. I do now have 3 sets of wheels for this car though !

I had to mount angled bolt in valves as the valves are mounted on the inner drum, strange I know but I am happy with the look for a cheap set.

Hi Michael, the perfect solution is to use a dial indicator to check any movement in the tolerance. Did you have a tyre balancing machine? That's a great base to mount the dial indicator but I would also check the balancing machine itself just to be fair. If you have any lazer etched markings on the wheel in between PCD of hub face that identifies the wheel and any reseller details, we can approach Braid and investigate. Please DM if any sensitive information but we will be happy to publish the results to all.

Cheers I will check. All I have the comment from the tire shop guy & video from the wheel on the balancing machine that I can share.
front wheels have only few balancing weights, whereas rear wheels required quite bit of balancing weights.

I use wheels & tyres with my daily car so I am not able to remove tires from wheels but will likely get another set of tires for next summer and we can run the wheel in balancer machine then. It might be too tedious to start investigating if the dimensions and weights are within specs but at least from the counter weight needs it appears that the set on rear axle was not as straight as the front axle set.
