Anyone eles getting wind noise around door seals above 40mph?
Mine blows a gale at 70!
It’s around the door mirror, will be under warranty.πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸ’¨πŸš—πŸ’¨

I’ve noticed this on mine too. Haven't had the car long, so will be interested to see what long term owners a say.

Mine does the same. Seems to be driver’s side but I’m guessing I hear that because that’s where I’m sitting? I had assumed it was an intrinsic β€œfeature” of the car rather than a fault? Has anyone actually had the issue and been successful in getting a dealer/Toyota to cure it?

Mine’s had it since day one, mentioned it a couple of times when in for service at RRG but they said it’s just the frameless design. Heard of others being more successful and having door seal replaced. Pressing on the vertical part of the door seal at the front stops it. It’s the only real annoying niggle I have with the car tbh! Driver side only for me, passenger side is fine.

I am told by my dealer it’s a warranty issue, at this rate they need doing every year!
Glad it’s got a 10yr warranty!πŸ€£πŸš—πŸ’¨

Mine was silent till the windows stuck the first winter, not bad enough to bother me tho

Need a bit of Vaseline on them over winter πŸ‘πŸš—πŸ’¨
It’s not the windows to rubbers, it’s the auto drop when you pull the handle I meant
Been using that gummipledge ?!? Stuff on the rubbers every few months

Same problem here, wind noise appears above 40mph. I have noticed, as @MrJ has mentioned, that pressure applied to the window from inside near the mirror stops the noise. I’ve found that the rubber seal around the wing mirror mount has a small split at the very top which may be the cause.

That’s the oneπŸš—πŸ’¨

This is a good thread to know about, thanks. I’d not had any issues until about 2 months ago when the noise started. It was that bad I stopped and checked the door was properly shut.

Just been to my dealership and it’s booked in next week to be checked out, the door window scrapers bare being looked at too, they not touching the windows both sides!
Roof mouldings too are curling at the ends!
There Is a modified version now!πŸš—πŸ’¨

Keep us posted mate. My local Toyota garage would just blame the wind noise on the TRD wind deflectors (although I installed them as a workaround). Interested in the revised mounting/door seal though.

I thought @GR.KEV was referring to a modified version of roof mouldings aka roof rails, not door seal.

Here’s what it should look like and what happens to them. It’s 3m tape and some pins it slots in to. Seems they heat up and then unstick.
