GR Yaris Who's still waiting

This part of the forum seems to have quietened down somewhat.

Do we have anyone waiting still? When I was last at the dealer (Late March as GR in for 2nd service) they said all their orders had arrived and no recent update from Toyota UK.
 
Last correspondence I can find from Toyota was October 2021 when they told me I was on the waiting list.

I'm sure there's been an email since telling me I was still on the waiting list, and that I should look at the exciting GR Yaris web page while I waited, but I can't find that.

No suggestion that I can pop along to my dealer and place an order though.

So I guess I'm on the waiting list to get on the waiting list.

Farcical.

Thank goodness the GR is a very special car and worth waiting for. Added bonus being most probably the last of the last.

I suspect more will never happen. If you didn’t have a numbered email then there’s at least 1,000 people ahead of you as that’s where they stopped the numbered list.
 
I am still waiting for my September 21 order. Last info from the dealer said "should be delivered by September 23, probably, maybe later."

So yeah, there are still some waiting. At least in Germany...
 
So very few still to arrive it seems. I thought it interesting as well that there’s only 2 2023 cars on Autotrader. So very few cars being delivered and flipped immediately? And the messages looking to sell soon to arrive deliveries also appear to have dwindled….

Everyone getting their car now was willing to wait up to two years. I think these are keeper kind of guys. I think the flipper brats are done with it, just like the hype.

The last contact I had with my dealer was last week and he gave me the date of 23rd May to arrive with them but I've heard this all before so I'm not counting my chickens just yet.

I am also waiting my march 2022 order to Finland. Current location somewhere between Zeebrugge and Malmö…

Also in mainland EU. Ordered last March. Was supposed to arrive in April-May of this year. But. Was pushed back to September-October last month. Now the dealer informs me that it will soon go to build and the expected delivery is still late July of this year (MyT also updated). Fingers crossed.
 
Hey guys. I'm also still waiting for my 21 order. Last info is that it should arrive till Q4. How did you manage to get the order ID? All I have is a deposit invoice and a contract with the company.
The dealer says he can't link it to MyToyota until he gets the VIN from Japan. It seems odd that it is possible to link by order ID in some countries and in others it is not. I'm from Czech Republic.
I am starting to be a little suspicious whether the order really exists at all. :-(
