GR Yaris Who's still waiting

I contacted them after my dealer advised me to, the last information I got was:

Sehr geehrter Herr XXX,

vielen Dank für Ihre Rückmeldung und Ihre Geduld. Bitte entschuldigen Sie unsere späte Antwort.

Wir haben Ihre Anfrage zum Anlass genommen, uns mit Ihrem Vertragspartner vor Ort in Verbindung zu setzen.

Herr XXX war so freundlich, uns die Ordernummer Ihres GR Yaris mitzuteilen, woraufhin wir eine Anfrage in der Produktionsplanung des Herstellerwerk platzieren konnten.

Leider hat man uns bestätigt, dass sich die Produktion aufgrund von Restriktionen partiell verzögert und Ihr GR Yaris gemäß den aktuell vorliegenden Informationen leider erst im kommenden Jahres produziert werden kann. Ein Produktionsmonat kann jedoch leider nicht genannt werden.

Auf die lange Lieferzeit haben wir leider keinen Einfluss und können uns für die Umstände leider lediglich entschuldigen.

Wir wünschen Ihnen dennoch einen guten Start in die neue Woche.

The latest update I received from my dealer was at the beginning of this month, it went from december 23 to january 24 😟

Stay positive I’m sure our cars will turn up one day 😀 I would consider a secondhand one to do me until my new one turned up but as most cars here have a hard life (the demonstrator I was due to drive here had its rear wheels taken clean off on a test drive!) I think I will just wait..

Mines on a ship, should be in the country mid Nov. Not sure how long it takes in Derby before getting to MK.
Ordered mid Jul21.
Probably just be garaged over winter until I can get PPF and ceramic coating.

Hey Mits… have you been given an ETA at your dealer? What’s your order prefix if you don’t mind me asking?
 
No eta at dealer. Not sure about my order prefix as could never get the app to work.
I won’t get excited until Dec.
 
It appears GR Yaris and Corolla are on the same production line

Ah yes produce 8 units of the car with 2.5+ years old orders while producing 50 of the car that didn't even exist 2 years ago...

I asked Toyota Germany about my order, they are telling me they don't know anything and that they will maybe know something in first quarter of 2024. So production/delivery expected in Q3 2024 then?

Will my order be the one to break the 3 year old wait barrier? Watch it happen.
