GR Supra Wheel colour change

I add, in case it has not been clear, that on the autodoc website and on the rest of the websites, they report that the Eibach and H&R springs are not compatible with my Supra model. But instead, they are compatible with the BMW Z4 30i. ☹️ I imagine that the information on the website will not be well updated...
Bye!

Yes not updated enough or tried and tested. Lots on the American forums have fitted the 3.0 springs to the 2.0 with no negative reports seen.

Good afternoon. But perhaps it is better to mount the specific Eibach springs for the Z4 30i, since those will adapt better to the Supra 2.0 since they carry the same weight in front... Don't you think? Since there are no 2.0-specific Eibach springs, it's better to buy those with closer characteristics...

Yes prob right or get the 2.0 specific ac schnitzer ones?
Yes, it is another option. More expensive... But I don't rule it out. I'm too lazy to make the change. I already did it with the Z3 and with the Z4 and the truth is that the difference is enormous. But with the Supra it makes me feel sorry to touch it since I'm using it for the first time and it's new... Apart from the shame that it gives me to change the new wheels and tires and have to keep them in the storage room... But I can't stop thinking about how amazing the Supra would look with 20-inch wheels... Damn disease!!!! 😅😅😅😅
It is clear that sooner or later I am going to do it. I know myself well...
Bye!

I feel your pain. I have eibachs and spacers sitting in garage
😳😳😳 You bought eibach springs and spacers and you haven't installed them??? But soon you will install them, right? It's just that until now I had made changes to 15-year-old cars, but with a new car... I feel sorry. 😢

Good night friends. Well, I already bought the rims and tires. Japan Racing SL01 Gunmetal finish.
Front axle measurements: 19 inches, width 9 ET 20. 255/35 R19.
Rear axle measurements: 20 inches, width 10'5 ET 32. 295/30 R20.
Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires.
As you can see, different tire size in front and behind. The very simple reason. I didn't want to fit wider tires on the front axle and if I had 20-inch wheels in front, I had to fit 275/30 R20. Too much for my taste. Especially being the 4-cylinder engine... I didn't want to lose that lightness in the direction... In the vehicle's technical sheet, the load index is 95. So I couldn't mount tires in sizes 255/30 R20 and not even 265/30 R20 (although I've seen on the internet that more than one does, but here In Spain, the "ITV" does not pass it... 👎👎👎 Apart from the fact that it is not suitable for the vehicle.
With the subject of the ETs I have had problems to decide. I hope I don't regret it. I wanted it to be fat but without having problems with friction in the wheel arches... I opted for a 12mm offset at the front and 14.4mm at the rear. I've seen a lot of people mount 13mm front and 15mm rear spacers, and they supposedly have no problems...
Some have even mounted tires with more aggressive offsets... So I hope I don't regret it.
As for the suspension springs, in principle I am going to buy the Eibach Pro Kit specific to the BMW Z4 30i. I have been talking to an approval company and after seeing the technical sheet of my car, they told me that they could approve it. Here in Spain, they are strict with these things... I am so envious of the Americans!!! 😅😅😅😅😅
I haven't bought the springs yet since I'm waiting for them to get a discount on the website where I usually buy. I will buy them in the next few days.
I'll send photos, maybe better in a new thread so as not to stain this one more...
Greetings and thank you very much for the help and information. 😉

Good afternoon from Spain!!! I finally have the Supra to my liking! 😜😜😜😜👏👏👏👏 The tires are light. With the tires they weigh exactly the same as the standard ones (255/40 R18 and 275/40 R18). The color is too dark for my taste. I would have liked a lighter anthracite color better but there was no option. Bronze, Silver or Gunmetal. Only three.

Japan Racing SL01 Gunmetal finish rims.
The measurements are 9J with ET 20 in 19 inches and 10'5J with ET 32 in 20 inches.
Live, the difference in inches in the rear tires is spectacular.
Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires in sizes 255/35 R19 and 295/30 R20.
So far I have not noticed that there is friction in the wheel arches or noises or strange things. All perfect. The Eibachs I bought are the ones specific to the Z4 30iDrive G29. Being a 4-cylinder engine, the front part weighs less and I think it will be better than those that are specific to the GR Supra 3.0... The car feels closer to the asphalt. The behavior is nothing radical. It is somewhat harder but nothing exaggerated. For me, it's perfect. Perhaps with the H&R one notices something harder since they are shorter springs... Although I suppose it will be similar.
Hope this information is helpful.
A greeting and thanks to the 2 who have helped me !!! 😉 The forum seems to be a bit dead but you 2 have helped a lot and that is appreciated. 👏👏👏👏

Glad to have helped you buddy, and the car looks awesome and I agree with you about the colour, a lighter shade would have been preferred by myself to.

Good night again. Bad news. I can't get rid of the tire pressure fault. It is possible that when running 19-inch tires in front and 20-inches in the rear, the car will go crazy and not be able to record the tire pressures correctly. 😒😒😒 Has this happened to anyone??? Logically, I have restarted the system so that it can measure pressures again, but after driving approximately 10 kilometers, it stays at 20% of the process or 30% and immediately thereafter gives a pressure control failure. Now I have messed it up!!! 😓😓😓 I hope I can solve it because otherwise, I see myself with the tire pressure failure for life.
Thank you very much and greetings
