1280kg is with full tank. Which weighs ~35kg. With 15% tank it should be 1250kg. Mine is probably similar to yours, mods add some weight sometimes...

Wash... wash. I think I know what that means but just not in this context... mine is long overdue. Been holding off pending a track day then fitting the lightbar. Soon my precious.
 
Car's in for a service. 12k km. Changing engine, gear and diff oils.

Also have squeaky front right break and my rear right tyre cant hold more than 1,8 bar.

I went with the normal fiberglass, 50mm wide, 1mm thick. there are 2mm (seemed too thick to me) versions and some "titanium" versions, which should withstand higher temps. but my guess is, that at the back the temps are not that high anymore (as for example on headers). for the installation exactly like @Humptydumptyhadabigone said. I secured the tape every 20 or 30cm with additional stainless ties, as the tape will deteriorate with time or gets damaged by road debris.
the true tuner kids will seal it with a silicone paint, but I did not bother. keep in mind, that the tape can lead to faster corrosion of the pipe, but I do not bother either. for now it is an experiment and I will go stainless eventually, when the stock exhaust rots away.

I did some kms only on roads. 2 track days will follow coming weekend, so will have better impressions how it changed the car. but my feelings after fitting the anti lift kit are similar.
additional notes from me: the added caster is noticeable at standstill or low speed. the steering wheel is harder and wants to return quicker. at higher speeds it gives more support. the PU-pucks are stiffer than the stock rubber bushings, so a little bit more vibration from road is transformed to the chassis. but the steering feels more precise. the reaction on throttle from standstill or out of a turn is noticeable better. I thought just for experiment I would flip the shims (for better handling under braking), but tweaking the accelerating seems to be better option than tweaking the braking handling on this car.
overall a cheap upgrade with positive effects IMHO.
 
Today was a very good day and massive thanks goes out to Ed of Divine Detail who installed both the GRMN steering whell and gear knob for me after applying a product to protect the Alcantara.

Ok, the gear knob is a 30 second job however the wheel does take some know how to remove, swap the side buttons over & re-install, this being the third one he's done. All in all, very happy with the feel of both GRMN parts which also really compliment and finnish off the interiour.

I've already bought 2 packs of wet wipes to keep hands clean. Haven't gone as far as buying "driving gloves" yet 😁

All in all, very happy with this little upgrade.

I need to make friends with someone with a GRMN so I can get a steering wheel with red stitching to match my interior. Anyone on here got one? lol

Put a new hydrophobic coating on the windows for winter and nailed my new parking space, having moved house recently. It’s only a matter of time though….
