GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Went to do a few errands, and realised I was nearly out of fuel. As I pulled up to some lights near the station, a bloke refueling his car... just a mclaren 650s is clearly eyeballing me whilst fueling his car (facing right)... and as I pulled in, he changed directions to the left and had another good eyeball as my car pulled in. Then did the same as he went in to pay, and came back out.

Felt like that should have been the other way around

He's probably got one himself at home. Loads of supercar drivers have a GRY too.

I had a M8 Comp try and hold onto me down some country lanes yesterday. He had no chance!

Fitted DNA seat lowering kit. Was pretty easy with the help of this youtube video:

I kept all the OEM plastics on, but I am tempted to take the seat back out and trim a bit, because it does catch quite a bit if I try to slide the seat forwards.

Makes a massive difference to seat height though, and feels very rigid!

You link reminded me, does anyone know what happened with that blue GRY? Only heard it was written off :(

Had a big day today:
1. racing - thinking of starting racing next year in slalom and time trials, only need license, helmet and gloves. One of the local Toyota guys invited me to join his club for license. Joining would also make new contacts with similar interests, no one around me shares my WRC/GRY passion.
2. homologation - did a homologation process for Armaspeed aero kit, results in few days. Have no idea how the "TUV inspector" didn't say a word about my other 40ish mods, but I'm glad he didn't. Also send an email to national vehicle inspection about the possibility of homologating DTUK box since it kinda got TUV certificate.

Finally drove it on track, which opened up a whole new world of what it can do and a whole new way to empty my bank account, had a great day and I have been missing out. The car is phenomenal and I love how it almost turns on the spot.

I need to book on a ‘proper’ day sometime as this was a private event, but it was perfect as it was only 2 cars on at any one time, so ideal for not stressing about being overtaken and good for learning how to brake properly and take lines through a corner. On that note the brakes really are incredible!

1st proper drive since the service, Drove from Kent to Peterborough and back ,noticed a slight vibration at 70mph could be a flat spot on a tyre?!?
Is it me and my slight pedantic nature or does every other w@@ker do 60 - 70mph and sit in the middle lanes while the “slow” lane is f@@king empty.
Rant over

If it is any comfort, over here it is literally >90%, I'd take every other any day of the week.

I heard he was going to do a video update about it but he seems to be radio silent from looking at the YouTube Channel!! 👀

All good again. Booked in for the service 830-10, about ten mins to go when they asked about doing the update, saying it woujd take an hour
Out of there just gone 11
Plenty of coffee and biscuits so happy enough
Good to hear. I hope Cardiff are as efficient when I need to go there.

i applaud these people, my journey on the motorways would be dull if i didn't have the fun of hunting them down and undertaking, the more the merrier
