GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Hi, how much did it cost, parts and labour. Cheers
It was just under ยฃ130. ( ยฃ100 labour and ยฃ28 for the bush) You could probably get it fitted for less but I've used this indy for years and trust them 100 percent so don't mind paying a bit over.

Reset my tyre pressures...

Pumped up the tyres.

Told the computer that I'd done so.

Drove a long way on a straight road at a consistent speed as per the manual.

Achieved 47.8mpg.

Drove back in a less straight, less consistent manner.

Didn't achieve 47.8mpg.

Took my ITG air filter out and put my panel filter back in as a science experiment. As much as I love the (slightly better) noise and the (slightly better) top end pull of the ITG I like the low down response of the OEM.

Also trying to keep the engine as OEM as possible.

If anyone wants and ITG filter with a few hundred miles use on it for ยฃ25 posted let me know.

Got all the oils changed and then stored her.

One of the blanking plates had been damaged on one side so was finally time to get the brake ducts fitted

Also noticed a few trim clips had been lost or not clipped in properly after the last service, so sorted them or just used fir tree ones instead to replace them

take some mates with you
Thanks for advice!
All went fine, poor fella was not quite ready for GRY :)
Took him up the local mountain (road was run as a WRC stage in '21).
Noticed extreme temps while going uphill, even though it was not that hot, around 30C in shade.
Gearbox 85C, ITCC 86C o_O
Engine oil 117C
Not really happy with those since I'm running ITCC vent, TRD undertray and oil cooler... Time to look into vented bonnet?

Hot, high, upphil and relatively low speeds are a worst case scenario, so actually then those temps are not too bad at all, probably lot worse without the additional cooling you have. So no improvements needed. But further improvememts by definition won't hurt either, I would love a vented bonnet that also works during winter....
