GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

+ Great driving experience

I'm very familiar with B, also driving a 2020 A6. Give me the GR every time :D
 
Swapped out the 13x8 rear plate for an 11x8.

I can defo see why you've done that, in fairness I think the dragon looks pretty sweet on most plates, but the way the background is stretched there does look a bit... gammy

It was just a bit too busy, colours just looked a bit wrong. Not to mention the numbers not being central has always bugged me!
 
Not very exciting, but booked it in for the 6,000 service, front sensor recall, mirror fix and asked if they'd check the handbrake as it rolls back unless it's pulled on really tight.

I asked about swapping the buttons over on the radio and I'm told that it can't be done (this was the answer I was expecting)


The part of the conversation that I particularly enjoyed...

Me: The mirrors don't fold in when the car is locked.

Toyota service agent: Do they fold out when the car is unlocked?

Personally not a fan of spacers esp in front, better with wider rims and keep close to factory et. Now it isn't as dramatic as on a fwd car and probably to almost no detriment if only frequenting flat/smooth roads, but if driving on very bumpy and/or ruttted roads I value steering purity over looks...

Replaced the transport plugs for the MUCH more solid alternatives. I’d already lost one of the originals inside the car, they really are too soft and easily pushed inside the sill.

The new ones (left) grip well.
