GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

it's strange for dealerships to become infamous for failing to use the right oil so, you know, swings and roundabouts.
For my first service with the car at a GR centre they used the API SN+ oil for a hybrid so I've supplied my own oil ever since

Drove it to rally Japan. Spent way too much on model cars 😂. I think I have about 5 of the things now.

Akio/morizo gave a lucky fan a ride in the rally 2 car. Surprisingly I only saw one other regular gr yaris in the whole Toyota&Nagoya area in 2 days...

Unfortunately the GR Japan meet fell on the same day as my rally Japan tickets.

I weirdly gained more range after a 30 mile round trip. Drove for a coffee this afternoon after the car had sat for a week, didn’t do anything extra special to drive in an eco friendly way and had 270 miles range left when I parked up. When I started the car up to drive the 15 miles back home, it said 320 miles and the needle on the tank was at the max. In all the 4 years of ownership the max I’ve ever gotten is 310 miles so it surprised me.

I’m aware that the car will update according to long term mpg, but this really stumped me. Is there a timeframe that it updates on, or is it a glitch? Was parked on the flat so all I can think is that it is due to the saddle design of the fuel tank or something like that.

Today was a good day. On my Convenience Pack I had installed -

• Full Circuit Pack suspension
• DNA Racing adjustable camber top mounts
• Whiteline rear camber arms

The original geometry settings were miles out. It was running toe out in the rear, no wonder it was a floaty fidgeting mess before.

Now running -

- 2.9 degrees Front camber & 1mm of toe out
- 2.2 degrees Rear camber & 1mm of toe in

Feels absolutely amazing! Should’ve done this years ago (or just bought a Circuit Pack).

Had the pleasure of meeting @RichM who was parting ways with his C-Tec Titanium OPF / GPF back, too good a deal to pass up given the rep C-TEC have for their exhausts,

fancied a change from the HKS Hi-Power Spec L II, which if I'm honest I always felt it was a little too bassy at low revs so was on the lookout for something else, sounds great other than that however.

I'll be looking to sell the HKS once I've swapped them over and cleaned it up, so I'll get a listing up here asap if anyone's interested in it.

Good to meet you, hopefully catch up for a drive out in the near future 👍

Yeah 3rd has been the issue for me too. My dealer said they did a few cusco mounts and guys came back in 24hrs asking them to swap it back to stock because it was unbearable.
I've learned to live with it. Just put a piece of foam between the rearview mirror and roof so you can see what's behind you
