East Sussex. So many cars. So little parking. So many angry people. So much vaping.

While I am here I bought some seat lowering frames. What's an extra suitcase between friends? As we are in borrowed accommodation I checked a package could get to me, given the size and weight etc. The guy on the desk wrote down the necessary details for me and asked me what I was getting. When I said seat frames for a GRY he said cool car. Do you track it? So we then had a longer chat about our street sprints.

The classic: completely empty parking lot but I will pull off this brilliant parking tactic right next to lonely parked car. Absolutely pissed off just from a principle of why would you do this next to a car when you have trillion free parking spaces… with a trailer over pretty high curb. Haven’t noticed any scratches or anything, just had to vent somewhere.

I was once in a motorway services grabbing something to eat in a quiet corner of the car park, when a car with 4 people in, from across the other parking bays opposite, reversed into a BMW M2 parked a few bays up from me. All the occupants felt it as they all turned around to see what it was they hit, and then the driver decided to drive off.
I took the reg and waited for BMW owner to come back. Informed them of what had happened, to which they replied it was a new purchase, parked there just to avoid any risk of it being damaged.

My heart would have sank as I returned to the car. To most people a car is for getting about and have no idea some people are passionate about their cars. Personally I never park in a multi storey car park when parking I try to park out the way. I may have a longer walk to the store but I've found this to work as people always try to park as close to stores as they can. Even when I park at work in a private car park I choose my parking bay wisely.

For me it's great, you just need suitable expectations. My son is learning to drive and thinks its fun.

Pros: you can sleep in the back, recaros are comfy, price, auto but
Cons: auto is nothing like a modern 8hp, it's a 23 year old car, parts availability, weak brakes, life expectancy
 
Took car to turbosmart bov service to our loved Toyota service rep.
Valino's feel crazy wobbly vs. Nankangs. maybethe'yre narrower but also the sidewall feels quite soft. of course its taller tyre also, but still.

New valve is more silent than stock 😂.
Well it should be more robust, at least.

Tested the Valinos over one of my favourite mountain roads and „played“ with different click-settings of the Öhlins. The tyres are loud, but a lot of fun!

I really cannot see your problem, It's a no brainer, you can buy new clothes when you get home. Make sure your suitcases have heavy and fragile stickers on. There's nothing worse than returning home naked and your seat frames are bent. Have a safe journey home
