GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Cusco shop is worth a visit and not far from Mount Haruna and pick yourself up some goodies to bring home:

Worth checking if it’s a full fat GR, someone on another forum ordered one and turned out that most rentals in Japan are actually the GR Yaris RS which is the 1.5 auto shopping variant.

Thank you for the heads up. I've checked it again and it is indeed the RS version. :( what a bummer. Man, then I'm probably better of with some camry hybrid.
Now I have to look if I can cancel and rent something else. I would feel like a phony driving that thing.
I was so excited to blast through the mountains.

Today we are hitting 10k together. Loving every moment with it. Even though I would love to have silver paintjob (unfortunately there was none available at the time when I was ordering), black is so stunning when freshly cleaned. PPF front and ceramic coating certainly helps, but this is probably first and last black paint car I’ll own. Its destroying my sanity trying to keep it clean and prevent any cosmetic damage 😂

Haha that might have actually happen when someone thought they have sniped a bargain for a GR Yaris. Imagine the sheer terror once the opened the bonnet etc. :D

Nevertheless i really would like one RS as a daily driver. Once they go below 15k i might enquire abroad.

Is this from Omoren/Omoshiro?

I'm planning on doing the same but October 2026

Edit: sorry just saw that you had accidentally ordered an RS - maybe given Omoren a look! They even have a heavily modified one that I'd be interested in trying

I have seen those for sale in the UK clearly, I would have said, being marketed towards those looking for a GR Yaris.
 
Technically the other day, but gave it one of its biannual washes in preparation for the Alps trip :D

Scrubbed up quite well I think, although the number of small stone chips and scuffs is of course increasing with age.

Caeramic-y stuff and Rain-X applied to try and keep it as shiny as possible for as long as possible.
